25 Sq ft diorama of a secret German Airfield in Egypt, 1940 or Indiana Jones meets Irwin Rommel’s afriKa Korp….

I try and make each figure vignette tell a story when I build my dioramas

An Afrika Korps Stuka and BF-109 Messerschmitt undergoing maintenance, while allied French Vichy Camel corp troops come in from patrol.

This 30 sq ft diorama is affectionately called Indiana Jones meets Irwin Rommel, based (very loosely) on the movie.

I built 2 small temples using broken Hieroglyphics pieces to embed into the foam insulation board Used in the construction.

Both temples were detailed with broken pieces of egyptian sculpture and the Dog gods from a history museum in Vienna from a trip overseas.

The diorama was built to look like an ancient anthropological excavation dig deep in the Egyptian desert, hidden from the Allies prying eyes.

The diorama is 25 sq ft and is mostly King and Country figures, planes and vehicles. and took 3 months to build
