The diorama before insertion into the shadow box with the wooded backdrop from Britons Ltd attached. A panel containing multiple lights from Evans designs was fitted to the top after assembly to highlight the late afternoon scene.

The 18″ x 18″ diorama created on 5 distinct levels to depict the Little Round top hill made from foam insulation and covered in plaster cloth. Note the black log and rock wall on the 5th level thrown up to protect the Union troops

Using a cardboard frame to depict what the scene would look like when viewed through the Shadow box window, each figure was placed to tell its own story in the battle.
